Answers for Same-Sex Marriage case

The Answers on the same-sex marriage case for Louisville, Kentucky were due last Monday, September 16, 2013, but the Attorney General’s office has asked for an extension so that they can file responses to both lawsuits filed by this office. The second case was filed in Frankfort and the due date on those Answers are due on this Wednesday, September 25, 2013.

These lawsuits were filed in the two separate Federal Jurisdictions of Kentucky, which means that two results could actually be given. If that happens, then it will be easier to get to a higher Court. Of course, we are hoping that we prevail in both cases and don’t have to go to a higher court at this point.
