Oral Arguments on 4/28/15

On April 28, the Court will hear argument in 14-556, Obergefell v. Hodges and consolidated cases. For your planning purposes, you should expect that the ourt will take a very brief break after the conclusion of the argument on the first issue, approximately 90 minutes after the argument commences. Spectators will be advised to remain near their seats, and anyone who leaves the courtroom will not be readmitted. When the Justices return to the bench, the Court will resume with argument on the second issue.
The Court will provide the audio recording and transcript of the oral argument on Question 1 as soon as the digital files are available for uploading to the Website. The audio recording and transcript should be available by approximately12:30 p.m. through the Court’s Website. The audio recording and transcript of the arguments on Question 2 should be available by approximately 2 p.m.
